Having moved into the flat, I thought it unfair to move Cheyenne, the surviving Guinea pig of the pair I’ve had since 2000ish into a new environment, and he’s quite happily living at mums, with the run of the house. However, at the age of 7 or 8, he’s still very happy and active.
Splodge the budgie is still at mums as well..but I do class them both as “mine”, at least in part.
We have recently bought a cat though..well..kitten. Named “Hex” after the Discworld thinking engine, he’s a small black bundle of energy with claws and teeth, and refreshingly little common sense sometimes.
